My concern is related to bullying, harassment or other grievance. What should I do?

These types of grievances, or complaints, usually impacts you as an individual and your sense of belonging within your team. We believe that a culture fostering inclusion and belonging builds a team that thrives on diversity of talent, which helps deliver innovative solutions for our customers. Diversity, inclusion and belonging are a priority to our team. For complaints related to bullying, harassment or lack of a sense of belonging, please discuss with your team leader or contact Jessica Pires Brown, DIB Leader.

Is my concern anonymous?

Yes, you have the opportunity to remain anonymous, but please be aware that an anonymous report may impact our ability to investigate and resolve the matter successfully. You can also remain partially anonymous where Safecall will receive your name but will not disclose it to Brown & Brown. By providing your name to Safecall, an investigator can contact you and it may help them fully understand the issue and take appropriate action.

How will my concern be logged with Brown & Brown?

Whether you contact Safecall online or by phone, they will manage your report in confidence. Safecall will pass the information you give to the Brown & Brown team, with the exception of your name if you choose to stay anonymous. Our combined teams will make sure your concern is looked into thoroughly, confidentially and independently.

Will I find out about the outcomes of my report?

Whenever possible, Brown & Brown will give you feedback on the outcome of any investigation. Please note – Brown & Brown owes a duty of confidence to our teammates. We will not be able to tell you about disciplinary or other action when it would infringe this confidence. Brown & Brown cannot guarantee that we will respond to all matters in a way that every teammate might wish. We will try to handle your concerns fairly and properly.
