What is it?
Safecall exit interviews are a means to find out what your organisation is really like through the eyes of the people working for it. We conduct in depth interviews with departing staff and provide you with an accurate report outlining their views.
Whilst people leave organisations for many reasons, it is now accepted that leavers are a tremendous source of knowledge about the organisation. If approached in the right manner, they will impart information to the benefit of both the organisation and former colleagues.
Safecall interviewers contact leavers and encourage them to describe their experiences with the company. This interview is conducted by telephone at a time suitable for the leaver. The normal practice is for information to be reported to clients on an anonymous basis, however, if a leaver has particular issues which they want to bring to your attention they may choose not to seek anonymity.
You may feel your own staff are quite capable of interviewing leavers. Whilst this is true you might question how much you will learn from such interviews. Experience has shown that people are far happier to speak to an external party where confidences can be preserved but crucial information disclosed. A further factor is that those conducting the interviews may not feel it is to their advantage to fully report criticism of themselves or colleagues.
